has anyone ever heard of a boat refurbishing place that will actually buy your boat ?
We have a 28 ft wellcraft cabin cruiser with twin outdrives. Someone stole them, and we can not afford new ones.
You many be able to find a marina that would buy your boat, or you could put the boat on Craigslist to see if you can find a buyer. Do not expect to get a lot for the boat in non operational condition. A good rule of thumb is to take the value of the boat in running condition, deduct the cost of all repairs needed and then cut that total in half. If you can get that much for the boat, you are doing well.
There are a lot of "project" boats available for sale. If you can find a way to get the replacement out drives installed, you will get a lot more for your boat, assuming it is in good condition otherwise.
